Gently wrap your right thumb with your left hand. The tension experienced by the stress of the everyday life of a big city fades and slowly leaves place to a deep well-being. The calm takes possession of you and at the same time, a simple smile is outlined in the corner of his lips. Your breathing becomes paced and a sense of security fills your entire body and calms down your mind.


This is Jin Shin Jyutsu.

The lifestyle beliefs and habits that we inhabit and the hectic pace that governs our lives can create tensions in our body. Thus, the way our physical body works, our mind and the entire emotional universe are deeply affected. Jin Shin Jyutsu awakens the intrinsic capacity of the human being to restore the momentarily lost harmony . The sessions can be applied in the appearance of several symptoms that can range from migraines, insomnia, aches, high blood pressure, weight imbalance, difficulties in relationships, acceptance of the past, excessive worries, lack of motivation or clarity in life, stress, even to decreased sexual pleasure and projects infertility, among others.

The complexity of Jin Shin Jyutsu is its simplicity.


This ancient art has its origin in Japan and is accessible to every human being. Behind the words of its philosophy, its application does not use difficult theories. As the name indicates, in its literal translation, the Jin Shin Jyutsu is "The Art of the Creator through the Man of Knowing and Compassion". It is so simple to understand what is good for ourselves and raise awareness for the maintenance of health and happiness. Jin Shin Jyutsu is an art that every one of us, Creator of his own life, applies to himself. The healing and harmony reside in the knowledge that we have of ourselves. Through self-awareness we allow ourselves to achieve balance physical, mental, digestive, emotional and spiritual.

The wisdom contained in this art was rescued by the master, Jiro Murai (1886-1965) in the early twentieth century. He was suffering from a serious disease for which no professional traditional medicine could not find an explanation or cure. After seven days and nights of agony and isolation by application of mudras (finger and hand positioning), the Japanese master recovered his health. Thus, he decided to  work in a legacy for all humankind, dedicating his life to the study of the Art of Benevolence and Longevity, Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Jin Shin Jyutsu has a practical side too developed behind which there is a dense philosophical framework. In fact, Art is nicknamed Physio-Philosophy which is based, as already mentioned, in self-knowledge. Knowing ourselves open paths to inner freedom. With the awareness that "the art of solving what is out there is the same that help in here [us]" (Mary Burmeister) passed to LIVE, instead of simply EXIST. While "there" means fears and burdens that prevent us from BE, living implies pleasure, it is a choice made by each of us.

Jin Shin Jyutsu uses instruments that are part of us, hands, breath, love. In fact, hands know or rather recognize what needs to be worked on and improved the bottom and at last instance, cured. The art involves the placement of the hands in different locations of the body in sequences. These areas of the body are called latches. The latches of energetic security, as the name implies, are here to help rebalanced energy. Through touch with your hands in 26 areas of the body, distributed in the same position on the left and right axis of the body re-established harmony. The energy is concentrated in the locks. The sequences of the positioning of the hands draw the patterns of circulation of life energy that distributes the body.

Energy security latches lock when abused body, spirit or mind. This occurs when one moves in the direction of problems. Incidentally, Jin Shin Jyutsu assume that we don't have any problem in life, but projects. One project involves a harmonious outcome, taking into account that refers to a choice to obtain something that gives pleasure: HEALING IS THE PLEASURE OF LIVING.

Another key element of the Art, in addition to the hands and love for ourselves, is breathing. Jin Shin Jyutsu provides the awareness that we are one with our breath: with gratitude, we received an inspiration, new breath to the body, mind and spirit.

Jin Shin Jyutsu has two application forms: application to ourselves of the sequences of touches and hold their own fingers and / or toes; inward flow of energy circulation by a practitioner with experience of the Art. The Jin Shin Jyutsu works disharmony at all levels and is therefore complementary to traditional medicine, but without intending to replace it. The Art stimulates the natural ability to regenerate, dissolves stress, awakens wellness and vitality by promoting relaxation reliever.
